Thomas I hope you are not suggesting illegal copies, the penalties are quite heavy in Switzerland.

Alme you can buy Windows 7 at Media Markt, Interdiscount etc. i.e. normally any where they sell notebooks. As Richard says there is special pricing for students.

I had purchased my copy from digitec(http://www.digitec.ch), they have an OEM version, which cost considerably less(the product is the same, the difference is in the packagaing, I guess). Also, as RichardM, if you are a student, these editions are more cheaper

Make sure you choose the right processor 32 bit or 64 bit and also whether you want the Basic, Home, Professional or Ultimate versions. Some examples below and also some links to help you make up your mind
