Deepak, if you are looking for sporty/casual items, Décathlon in Annemasse (France) has an affordable, good-quality collection for babies (http://www.decathlon.fr/C-315045-manteaux,-blousons). I think the thicker jackets (e.g., doudounes) start at 12 months, but they may have items for younger babies...

If you need dressier clothes, you should check out DPAM (Du Pareil Au Même, in the same shopping center as Décathlon, in Annemasse / also available online) or even Jacadi (in Geneva, Annecy or online / classier & more expensive but they are having a 20% sale that may include "manteaux" & "vestes"). Z also carries winter jackets, but I do not know if they have anything for infants (the store is located in downtown Annemasse)... Reliable online options, in addition to Jacadi and DPAM, include Vertbaudet (huge ongoing sale / there is a store in Annecy), Okaidi ("naissance" line, 0-12mo. / ongoing sale till October 1), Cyrillus (also in Annecy, close to Jacadi, on the same block as DPAM and Vertbaudet), and Melijoe (they sell a variety of baby brands).
