What has to be done with the Xmas trees after Xmas?
Are they collected any particular day/week (to be recycled/composted or given any other use)? Or do you treat them like regular trash?
Thanks!

Hi Pel O
Well where I stay they used to collect them, but then they changed that we have to bring them to a school house and they burn them together and make a real big fire to celebrate some demons or whatever. I dont know where you live, usually in Switzerland things are done differently from Canton to Canton sometimes even from village to village. Im sure you receive a local newspaper and usually they mention that somewhere there if not you can always ask where you usually deposit your papers, they have all the infos. Is it possible that your village might have a homepage, you can also check there.
Hope this Helps.

It depends on where you are. Some communes have collection days/points some ask that you bring them in, and others have big bonfires (e.g. St. Cergue).
If you check on the website of your commune under "environnement" or "dechets" you should find the information.

Thank you girls!
Streets are full of them. Time to do so!
Just saw on TV yesterday that elephants, camels, and others are found of the smell and taste of pinetrees. So if you have a circus nearby do not hesitate to bring your Xmas natural trees to feed the hungry elephants. ( I meant the grey ones as there are no pink ones unless you lost control ;).
