I thought I'd post a new topic after this historic election. The 'yes we can' addresses not only Obamamaniacs but people from all backgrounds and interests. Having trouble changing a tire, making mortgage payments or threading a needle, this forum is for you!

start by recyling more in Geneva. can we get a petition going to do more with recylling within our own buildings catering for separation of glass/plastic/aluminum/nespresso so we stop polluting the environment? How many petitions is required to get something on a referendum? is 20,000 good enough? if we get 1000 members to get 20 people to sight, that's 20,000, non?

To try to get answer your post Bedrock I think the US elections proved that it went beyond our borders: though some countries are cool to an Obama Presidency, there were kids in urban ghettos such as Paris, Rome, not to mention places like Nairobi or Siera Leone etc. etc. where the youth was overjoyed simply because a symbol ,which stands for possibility, was validated.
