Zurich for the weekend

Any recommendations for restaurants / bars?


Where is the nearest climbing gym?  Are there other activities that you would recommend?

If you are happy to drive about 45 minutes - an hour out of Zurich, there is a mountain called Santis Der Berg. I was there last weekend with a few friends, and if the weather is good, the view from the top of the mountain is beautiful.


There is also a restaurant for lunch etc afterwards at the bottom. You can walk the second half (instead of the cable car) although I think at this time it will be snowed out.

depends what you're looking for in terms of bars and restaurants. for climbing there's also an indoor place you can go to if Sarah's place is snowed out:
