Hi, Manelle. I got an excellent suggestion. Arianna, who is a wonderful, charming, delightful person, knows lots of games and is full of energy, incredibly entertaining just told me she is also bored (notwithstanding my frequently taking her to the pool, kayaking on the lake, flying kites, bicycling, to Forestland, to the parks, to the cinema to see the latest movies etc.) I can get you together this weekend if you would like.

She will keep you busy, happy and engaged and will be happy to share her coloring books and toys.

For the time being, you are also invited to her 7th birthday in 3 weeks.

PS One of her best friends from school is, like you, from Tunisia. Here they are, being silly at one of their latest soires pijama. They usually are joined by one or two more girls. You are welcome to join them next time they have one. But your mummy has to let me know she agrees for you to stay over.

In Geneva you need to make an extra effort and after a while you will be too busy all the time. Glocals and internations are a great way to entertain with friendly people from all over the world and the activities are so diversified to suit all tastes. Enjoy and good luck.

If you're bored and lazy take up Ingress. If you're bored and energetic take up via ferrata, rock climbing, hiking, canyoning, sailing, running and many other sports. With the right network of  people you will have something to do at least once a week if not more. 

I usually head to the mountains to pass the time. Today I walked along some old tram lines in the Jura. If you don't find what you want to do in Geneva you have Nyon, lausanne etc. 

You also have the TGV to Paris and the train to Milano. 

Recently whilst volunteering at an event I was invited to try Paragliding for free. :-). I spent a few nights up in Les Diablerets for free thanks to that event. :-)

Notice how none of my suggestions have anything to do with Geneva except as a departure point ;-). 

Any of you would like to go do some stand up paddle board tomorrow around 1 or 2pm?

The cheapest rentals are in Vengerons, we could go together from the geneva train station, its just a 5 minutes ride and it's included in the regular public transport tickets.

It's 10 or 15chf there, depending on what board you rent.

merci Richard  I took ingress and i m gonna try it it seems fun, ( i tried pokemongo, its ok when you are in the city which is not my case) I live in front of the moutain so already everyday i go walking around.  I did a lot of volunteering and it never took me for free anywhere lol. I love Lausanne and once i took some boat from nyon it was very nice. Definitely i will try to find an excuse to go in these city . and to finish I m not into extrem sport activites  for those you mentionned climbing ferrata.. etc plus it includes to invest on materials..etc

In theory cycling and Ingress are perfect together if you want to field over the area around Geneva. I met several dozen players between Lausanne and Geneva and in Paris. I went to Florence for one anomaly and we were over 1600 players if I remember correctly. 

Rock climbing and via ferrata are not that expensive. A via ferrata kit with helmet and harness can be bought for less than 200 euros. I've been using mine four about five years now. I will need to replace it soon. 

Scuba diving around here was a temporary passion. I grew tired of the cold and my friends wanted to do deep and technical dives so I focused on the mountains instead. 

I was really lucky to get the chance to try parapente. That's why I accepted without hesitation. I seem to be climbing almost every Thursday near Lausanne at the moment. If you are free by 1800 then I can drive from Nyon. The event starts at 1930 but I try to avoid getting stuck in commuter traffic.
