Values are changing all the time: this afternoon we watched Songs of Praise on BBC1 and saw a member of a performing band [male] wearing a cap in the Holy Trinity Church Folkestone. Does no one have the courage to ask him to please take off his cap? Or is this now permitted bearing in mind dwindling church attendances? Wonder whether any males at "the" wedding will wear headgear?

Reminds me of the story of the chap who was late for mass and had to stand at the back of the church. Suddenly he noticed a fellow next to him smoking! Not believing his eyes he asked the fellow to stop. The smoker told him to mind his own business and gave him a light shove.......spilling the latecomer's beer.
