Where is the best place to exchange money in Geneva? I want to get the most yoyo's for my franks. Which bank has the best exchange rates?

I always find Migros Exchange offering the best rate (I'm talking about CHF-USD and vice versa). and it doesn't take any extra fees (not like banks where the majority do, like BCGE).
Here's a link for their offices:
http://www.migros.ch/fr/a-propos-de-migros/regions/geneve/bureaux-de-change.html
I hope that helps...

Lyland Change has at times a better rate than Migros (EUR + USD) and offers special rates for large amounts:

Hello!
I understand this is an old thread. but please can someone advise - has the situation changed?
Is Migros still the best if you want to convert more than 3000 CHF?
Thanks in advance!

Should you have a general train pass, the best place for currency exchanges are the ones inside the train stations as they do not charge pass holders any fees at all.

They may not charge you any fee, but I am sure they will not give you the best or even a good exhange rate. For big amounts it is really the exchange rate that you need to care about. I would advise you to check Currency Fair and /or Transfer Wise.

I use transferwise - worthwhile giving them a look!
