educating about Darfur
one of my friends worked for an NGO in Darfur for two years. although the situation seems to be getting a little more attention these days (then again...), not a lot is being done and there's not all that much info reaching us. but if you click on the link below, it'll take you to an educating interactive 'game'. it'd be great if it could reach as many people as possible, so feel free to pass it on once you've tried!

Thanks for the feed. The game makes it clear that something must be done urgently.

So far I could never make any sense of the Darfur situation. It is like if everyone but me has already all the required background. I find it difficult to connect all the articles and news together.

It would help me to figure out when and why it started as well who are the sponsors and who benefits... Since we all know that a lasting war requires to make sense at the economic level otherwise, just like fire without oxygen it stops - at least for a while.
Cheers,
B.

of info and education. It helps quite a bit to figure out where the conflict comes from and an idea of how things 'work' there, the basic problems that people face.

It is incredible that it is so difficult to take appropriate actions. This still suggests that there are so many hidden stakeholders that feed($,gun, tech, transportation) and benefit(?) the conflict.

Anyway, I see a little better through this than this morning. Thank for the sharing! This conflict deserves a lot a lot more attention at least...
