This is kind of a strange request -I am trying to find the ex- chef of the Barrocco(the restaurant at the Musee des Arts et Histoires) - all I know is that he is a Canadian chef called "Mac", no I don't have a surname! Obviously, I tried the new management of the Barrocco and the HR head at the museum - they have all been enormously unhelpful-apparently everybody parted on bad terms! I left a message for him with the new staff of the restaurant - they (quite rightly) didn't wan't to give me his number directly, but I don't even know that they passed on the message!
They is no sinister reason for wanting to get hold of him- other than I thought he was an excellent chef - he is apparently taking time out with his new son and I wondered if he would give me cooking lessons and also I would like to know, when/if he transfers to a new restaurant, because he was really wonderful!
So, if anyone has a friend or an acquaintance who is a Canadian chef nicknamed "Mac" please ask him to get in touch! I just thought that I would throw it out there- you never know!
