Many, many foreign doctors work in Swiss hospitals (there's a huge lack of doctors here) and it's usually no problem to get a job as long as you're not fixed on a specific place or a very specific sub-specialty. Diplomas are usually mutually accepted and work permit is not an issue for EU citizens. Maybe the Swiss are very "protective" in some fields but certainly not in medicine.
