I would guess the same product you use to remove it from your nails and then rince thoroughly...

use a cotton bud dipped into nail polish remover and very carefully dissolve the polish on the mat, trying not to get the remover on the mat itself. Good luck!

Take hammer and start chipping out the stained places.

Thanks for your help on this. I managed to remove stain by putting nail varnish remover on fabric and blotting with paper towel and then washing in washing machine. Google was also very helpful.
