You can be fairly sure that if the video is on Youtube then it's legal. They are usually pretty quick at removing copy right stuff.

There are tons of free tools out there to download from youtube, just a matter choosing one you like..

Its also LEGAL in Switzerland to download movies from the internet, so sites like www.isohunt.com are a good source of contant. You will also need to download a torrent eg www.utorrent.com which is a system that works well with isohunt.

With that you can stream movies to your playstation via a media server. (or watch them direct on your computer, or attach the computer to your TV)

Be aware that once your movie is downloaded you need to turn of the "seeding"... since that is not technically legal in Switzerland.

For a smooth download its best you connect the internet cable directly to your PC/laptop.. since wifi can make it a bit broken up occasionally.

Personnaly, to download from Youtube, I use BestVideoDownloader, which is a small app that directly shows-up in the Youtube page and allows you to download music and videos from different formats (mobile, Ipad, to HD), and even only Audio.

Works fine on PC.

The Audio option is very usefull if you only want to download music without the video clip that usually takes quite some space.

I even found the same app on mobile, YouTube Downloader.

This FireFox plug-in seems to work OK.  I've only used it a little.

Sorry to be picky, but that's not how torrents work.  As soon as your torrent client has downloaded a recognisable segment (which is typically quite small) of the file concerned it will start to "seed" it; i.e. allow other users to download it from you.  You can restrict the bandwidth allocated to this but you can't switch it off because it is the mechanism that makes torrenting work, since there is no central server that holds the files - they exist only on the hard-drives of participating torrent users.  It's a file-sharing protocol; not a download service.
Your ratio of downloads to uploads is measured in real-time and determines your download speed, so if you routinely restrict your upload bandwidth and / or remove downloaded files as soon as they are complete (thus reducing your seeding) your download speed will eventually become too slow to be practical.

Thus: while the downloading of copyrighted material is generally tolerated in Switzerland; uploading - i.e. distribution of it is taken quite seriously.  As soon as you start using torrents, you are uploading / distributing and you risk an unwelcome knock on the door.

I would stick with Youtube or file hosting sites.

You just click on the serie you wanna watch, and you pick a straming link, and click 'watch this link'. Sometimes there a a lot, sometimes just a few. Depends on how popular the serie is i guess. Some links are faster then others, but after a while you will know which ones to pick. For example, I prefer:

After you click this another tab will open, where you are being redirected to the streaming link. You just click 'click here to play'

I believe there are some advertisings somewhere on the last page, but if you have ADBLOCKER installed like me, they dont pop-up.

I use this site for several years now, it's free and you dont have to download anything. The ony thing is: ITS EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE. You end up watching whole seasons in a few days and your social life might suffer a bit. lol :-p

thanks, i just learned that I have this firefox plugin already and it works really good on youtube and all other streaming videos. I just watched the latest Big Bang :) episode and downloaded a copy, thanks.

Dont use your credit card with this site, or any affiliated sites, because I find that my anti-virus software Bitdefender is blocking almost all the linked sites. Either with yellow or red warnings. So I would not suggest using this http://watchseries.lt/  site at all. I beleive it is downloading malware or keeps asking you do download different addin or software that certainly is infecting peoples computers.

It is better to be safe that sorry later.
