Are there any non-Apple store repair places in Geneva?
My options are: 269 CHF to get the screen replaced at the Apple store or to buy a new iphone for 400 CHF.
I would like to get the screen repaired (instead of buying a new iphone) but was wondering if any glocals folk knew of a cheaper place.
Any ASAP help would be greatly appreciated.

There is a store in Prilly (Lausanne) that is a bit less expensive. CHF 249

The one possible advantage is if you book an appointment with them, they can fix it with the hour.

although its too late for the one you've got i can really recommend the below for your replacement - its nothing other than a film for the screen but it seems to be almost indestructible. just order the cover for the screen as the bit for the reverse of the ipod seems a needless hassle; its difficult to fit around the contours whereas the front screen is just flat so its really easy to fit. i've dropped mine all over the place and it literally does not have a single scratch on it.

Verbier, iphonecafe sounds good but would mean a trip to Lausanne for me. I found someone in Geneva who can do this for 200 CHF. King of GSM on Rue du Lausanne (across from La Halle) has said if I can drop it off on Friday I can pick it up next Wednesday. So, it's not fixed while I wait but worth about 70 CHF I think. I am crossing my fingers though.
Hucklewoo, I am definitely getting this film for the newly fixed iphone. Thanks for the pointer.
