Can you explain a little further Richdog....when you say 'technical perspective' do you mean in the code or how one gets around the site ? I for one don't have any issues with the site at all.

Is the site run on a voluntary basis ? If so then perhaps you guys can volunteer your technical abilities/help in some fashion or have you already done that ?

I have offered my services dozens of times, both paid and voluntary. I even removed about 180 of 190 HMTL errors on the home page on my local version and offered it to them. (There are now only about 80 errors.) It would appear that Glocals.com is "good enough" for them, despite regular requests for things like this.
Go to validator.w3.org and submit this site. The errors are very small and easy to fix.

Thanks Zonker...I thought that may have been the case but wanted to make sure. Is there anyone else out there with some sense of community and has the smarts that could help the site ?

yeah but can you imagine how long the "why few singles over 40?" thread would be by now if there was a glocals app?
