Greetings, We've recently arrived in Geneva and as we await the delivery of our car, I'd like to rent a good condition car with automatic transmission for a couple of months. Size isn't really an issue as it is simply for commuting.

if you rent at the airport from any major service provider and you indicate that you are renting for 1-2 months, they give you a special price usually. if i recall well we used to pay around 1200 CHF but you might be better off if you rent on the French side.

You could also use Mobility if you don't need a car all the time.

Thanks to all for their suggestions. I eventually went with Patrick Locations in geneva, they have a branch in Nyon. It was quick, painless and they had an automatic available. I'll share any lessons learned when i return the car.

If someone comes back to this thread, there is also Enzo Location (Lausanne, GVA, Yverdon, Chexbres).
They have a Fiat Panda automatique (cat. B) for CHF 610/month with 1'000 km (you can go for 2'500 km as well). Should be big enough for the commute to work. The Geneva location is only for longer term rentals. Lausanne handles the shorter term and longer term rentals.
They have advertising on the side of the car (from memory, Patrick has it on the back window).
