I saw a headline 'Minutemen border fence...' and immediatly thought that 'oh no, here we go once again with a star wars like program that this time is able to shoot an illegal alien into smithereens from a distance of... 100 yards. The only hic is that the 2 million dollar missile has to reach an altitude of 10 miles before zooming back down from the stratosphere to an detonate it warhead on the unwitting chico or chica. Now that's progress.
Only the truth of the matter is that minutemen is also an organistion so i copied for u the link and u can do what u want, donate or send them a post card with your piece of mind. Go for it.
The fencing will be built with privately donated funds, engineering and labor and will be used as an example to educate the public about the feasibility and efficacy of fencing to secure America’s borders from illegal incursion by aliens and international criminal cartels. A non-profit organization dedicated specifically to this purpose will facilitate and administer donations for construction of the fence. Monetary and in-kind contributions for this effort are dedicated funds for development costs, building materials and regulatory compliance to implement this private, volunteer fencing project. Donations are being collected in a segregated non-profit account, exclusively to build the Minuteman Border Fence.
Minuteman Civil Defense Corps is a project of the Declaration Alliance -- a public policy and issues advocacy organization that aggressively addresses the intensifying assaults that the American Republic continues to endure -- at home, and abroad. Declaration Alliance is a 501(c)(4) not-for-profit, tax exempt organization.
