question on obligation when selling a motorcycle

Please help me with the legal logic flow.

Want to sell a moto to an  individual.

Let's say I have a buyer.

I hand over the moto in exchange for the payment.

Now, I need to rescind my plates and registration to DMV.

He needs to get plates and new registration.

How is this done - what are my obligations as the seller.

Many thanks

very simple. you hand in your plates and cancel your grey permit at the bur. des autos. then you hand over the keys and cancelled grey permit to the nw owner.

as far as the "expertise " is concerned, that is the new owner's responsability.

good luck!
