New law applies to everyone driving in France.

"A new French law says that from the 1st July, every driver in France will have to carry a breathalyzer in their car, but you will only be fined 11 euros from next November onwards. This law applies to any car driving in France, including Swiss cars. After a certain time, the breathalyzers go off. You can tell when you have to change it as the breathalyzer turns pale.

The breathalyzers can be bought from pharmacies and tobacconists in France."

I was actually told that you need two, but that needs to be confirmed. I guess

that makes sense because the other passenger may be too drunk to drive too!!!!
