Hi 

After Bob Marley ( RIP ) i kind of started to think about George Gershwin and 

since i have a collection of his songs i thought about "Summertime"

 from "Porgy and Bess " and thought well it does seem like summer time 

so i thought i would start a thread on Gershwin for those who know who he or might be interested to learn more about his songs.

I enjoy playing it on the piano and find the note arrangement  by Geroge Gerswin go so well with the words written by his brother Ira.

It is 77 years since the man died but the lyrics are timeless i think
