Hi, my son (UK resident and driver's licence) will be visiting for a week and I would like to lend him my car, but apparently he would only be insured (I'm with Allianz) to drive it in Switzerland, not neighbouring France or other countries. The insurer says there's no solution other than for him to hire a car.
Has anyone found a solution to this?
