when i was a child in the caribbean my father spotted a tarantula over the front door...so he called the gardner...

The gardner, in true TnT fashion got a step ladder and a can of fly spray...

I stood next to the bottom of the ladder as the gardner emptied the can onto the tarantula...who dropped to the ground...maybe 2 meters.

As it hit, it burst, and about 1000 baby tarantulas scampered from their mothers split abdomen...

To this day I cant bear baby tarantuals...<shivver>.....

Cows.  I saw one chase and throw my grandfather's sheepdog once. That image never left me and Ive since kept a respectful distance from those 'docile' milk-suppliers.

I have a fear of physical pain..... I heard of people who have temporary headaches for years and years until one day the headache is gone but 20 years went by!!! THAT'S HORRIFYING! I don't know if I could handle such a thing!

There is a walk planned this weekend to the lac de Chambres (cannot remember who is organising it) but check it out on things to do. but I walked past it last Saturday and most of it was covered with ice so, if you took a running dive into the uniced bit , there is a good chance that the trajectory would take you under the ice which would stop you floating to the surface.  But the water will still be cold

No good if the ice is cracked, just float up between them. Lost a lot of weight you see. Even have to run around in the shower to get wet.

So if there's one thing I am afraid of, it's physical contact with eyeballs.

Last time my optometrist tried to do the standard glaucoma test which involves gauging interior eye pressure I literally (not figuratively) almost fainted.

Also the ending of The Fly was really freaky (the David Cronenberg version), but that's mostly unrelated.

I am scared of hens...yes I know I know how could I be scared of such an animal???!!!!..but they scare me !!! Once I HAD to go in the henouse, my mother asked me to get some eggs (my parents have hens in my chalet) I promise... they felt my fear and try to attack me!!! Actually, my worst nightmare was that the hens were attacking me, they were pecking me... just imagine myself with their bodies in my hands...no! better not to imagine.

The thing is that as I often go to Peru I had to learn to control myself in their presence, to be quiet (as they are running and pecking freely)....but I never drop my guard ehehehe....
