That becomes sickness leave not vacation leave (with the doctor's certificate), i believe the remaining holidays days taken also become 'sick leave'.

The medical certificate should be dated from the first day of the illness and state how long the condition is expected to last.
You may also need a second certificate to say you are fit to return to work.

The days your sick are credited to future request/approved by your employer. It not automatic that during your holidays the days your sick will be credited to be added after your well. So its really you to discuss with your employer. But any day your sick during holiday, you must get a medical certificate, to ensure you get those days back, its Guaranteed as per the Code des Obligation.
