Make contacts as much you can,  Especially your current and previous Happy clients are your best asset use them, Try to keep your rates reasonable and make sure don't drag them down too much. Use the different advertising sources (i am not exactly sure what sort of services you are going to give in IT). As you have started an IT business so why don't you give some free services to few NGOs, It will really help you to promote your business and your brand along a contribution towards a good cause. Try to keep in touch with local IT guys(geeks) They really help you get informed about the local trends towards the technology demands, (try to contribute in different open source projects) Most of all Starting a business is really easy but keeping it alive and growing requires a lot of passion devotion towards the business.
