I think badoo is a dating forum or the chinese version of google.

It was at first a dating site, but now it has also become a kind of social network.

Badoo is rated as a dating platform, but still also can be a social platform, especially if you want to see "who is in your neighbourhood". Most features are free, some you have to pay for.

On the homepage the article is from 2004, but if you get tru the navigation and click on partnerschaften, you will see that the last rating is from July 2013.

It's only in German but it describes good what you can expect or what those platforms are in general - for a start.

1 - get fleeced for money by gold diggers (if they are not careful),
