what's your new year resolution?
Mine are:

1. Spend more time with the family, and less at work / on the PC.

2. Eat less junk food, and hit the gym atleast 3 times each week.

3. Stop having one night stands with Stef_Granny (even if he begs).

I don't know if I will be able to spend more time at home or not to eat junk food. I just want to cease this occasion to wish you, guys, a Happy New Year.

Special "love you" to Julian. I didn't have a lot of time this year to profit from your generosity but... maybe it will be my only new year resolution :)... I promise you to make it in 2008. Big hug.

1)Improve my money management skills (or get myself some!!)

2) Keep doing what worked in 2007 (aka, gym and time with my close friends !!)

3) Make myself happy :)

and number 4 follows automatically if I want number 3 to be true :
ALWAYS FOLLOW GRANNY'S (Stef_Granny) ADVICES!

In 2007, I tried to grow a backbone, and disobeyed my girlfriend on several occasions.

I am now older and wiser, and have come to understand that arguing, disobeying, and/or resisting is futile.

My resolution for 2008 is to do whatever she says, as quickly as possible, and with no backtalk.

Happy 2008

Oded

I don't know Oded's girlfriend, I don't know Oded himself ... Ok, I think I saw him once at a party. I don't know the girlfriends or boyfriends of many of my close friends unless they present them to me ... but it is not for I could "help" them to kick out their girlfriends or boyfriends. Got it?

... resolutions and New Year's promises, so here are a few:
1. Find something useful to do (stop getting in everybody's way)
2. Be respectful of speed limits & deserve my reputation of being slow
3. Register for an Internet addiction cure
4. Quit the cake, it's no good anyway
5. Find a way to prevent people from falling asleep when I am around
6. Develop my sense of humor (will facilitate 4 & 5).

A really happy New Year to everybody, super Glocals events with lots of fun, breath-taking experiences and friendly people.

Stopping one-night stands with me, I mean, since you never managed to do it!
I mean: I can stand (and dance) all night, but if you are not in bed snoring by 10 p.m. you fall asleep on the table!

Ah! That's not what you mean? (duh!)

Anyway...
Why make resolutions instead of doing what you are resolved to?
Why deciding to stop smoking, rather than stopping it?

I think the only wise resolution of the whole thread was Hoiling's "Always follow the advise of Stef The Granny"!!!
