Looks like Tom Tom Map seems to better for Iphone, Any body has used any other map? For samsung Galaxy which is better?

Which internet connection (which Plan) is the good choice for this type of phone?

iPhone 5 doesn't exist.

For GPS... as far as I am aware there exists no phone that has a built in GPS that works without internet. (prove me wrong?)

For sure, In IPhone 4 you do not need internet, Just click on the GPS button, it will locate you position. if you have pre loaded map you should be able to navigate without any problem. I have tested this with myself.

As far as i know samsung also supports this. But i have not used it.

I have the Iphone 4 with TomTom and it works very well... in switzerland.. germany etc....without any internet connection

At the same time, I listen music over the car audio system and use the BT modul for telephone calls..

For this I installed a Alpine 126BT in my car.. and so all 3 things are possible at the same time and it works great

People who have used Samsung Galaxy told me that for no reason most of the time it hangs, some times it switch off by itself, some times it never starts , any bad or good experience with Samsung Galaxy.

I've got a Galaxy2 and it works perfectly fine. Synch with my PC over WiFi or cable, synch my calendar at home and in the office through my Google account, GPS, maps, aall these nice PDA functions. I don't need to install iTunes and it's anopen platform. For short, much better that an iPhone, but that's a matter of taste.

Actually, I've seen more people having problems with iPhone than those having problems with Samsung Galaxy (especially S2). One of the main problems: battery gets discharged very quickly. Another problem: poor signal.

I prefer Galaxy S2. My reasons:

- everything works much much smother than in iPhone.

- you have almost every useful application included.

- no problems with GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, signal

- batter is a monster! In my mobile it lasts for almost 3 days without any recharging (Well, my phone's OS is bit tweaked, so everything runs even smoothier than out of the box!)

- Camera & screen is cool.

- Cheaper than iphone

- thinner & lighter than iphone

- more robust than iphone (I've dropped and slapped it God knows how many times!)

- it's easier to sync and backup almost everything. no need to sign up and install anything else (for example, you can access your music collection in your computer over wi-fi + you can access you phone files via your computer's browser, no need to install anything)

Hope it helps.
