work from home

Hi,

I am looking for some kind of a work, what I could do from home. I would like to use my free time to do something useful. :) I am not so creativ unfortunately, that`s why I would like to ask you.

Could you give me some ideas about internet occupation or other solution to keep myself busy?

Thank you

If you are looking for paid work, what is your permit status and what are your skills?

If you are looking for voluntary work, the possibilities are endless.

And if, by any chance, your French is still elementary, take a course or private lessons.  Becoming fluent in the local language can only enhance your life here and your chances of finding employment.

Best wishes, R.

Translation is a very overcrowded field, and especially so in Geneva where even highly qualified and experience translators find themselves competing with dozens of gifted amateurs.

Apart from linguistic ability, translation demands wide general knowledge, concentrated effort and the stamina to complete an assignment however irrational or tedious or verbose the text may be – qualities that are not given to everyone.

Moreover, in Dina’s case, how much call is there likely to be for her mother-tongue in these parts?

I agree that the suggestion is kind but I don’t think it’s a practical proposition in this instance.
