As it is a bit impossible to find a parking place were i live and winter is approaching fast (yes i know is only the middle of summer but anw), i wanted to explore this option of car sharing as well.
Their webpage seems ok and its in English (a huge plus!) but has someone used them? Is it as easy as they make it to be? As i need a car only a couple of days per week it seems like a nice option since im a long way off in getting that Bugatti :P
Thanks :)

Hello Maria,
I'm using mobility cars since about five years and did never had any problems. An advantage is indeed that you don't have to search for car parkings and don't have to bother about insurance, taxes, maintenance etc. However, using mobility is only worth under the following two conditions:
- You live close to one of their car-parks (or at distance that you can easily reach with public transportation).
- You don't use the car too often. If you use the car only about once or twice a week, and if you dont have to travel too far, it's worth it. But if you use a car for longer periods or distances (more than some 5000 to 10000 km/ year) you'd be better off with a car of your own.

Thanks for the replies. The nearest mobility place is 5 minutes from my house so im ok in that aspect :)
Now the practical questions. How do i become a member? How do i make sure there is a car there for when i need it? How about fuel? Whatever else do i need to know?

You book the car in advance (through Internet or telephon). The more you book in advance, the more you can be sure that the car is free. If at the mobility station near you there are a lot of cars, you can be pretty sure that there is a free car even if you book just short time before you need the car.
On the bord computer of the car, there is a card with which you can get fuel without having to pay (fuel is included in the price). If you dont find a petrol station where you can by with the card (the cards are either for BP or for Shell stations), you have to pay with cash and then send the receipt to mobility and they will reimburse you.
It's really super easy to use. The cars are generally in very good shape and clean. The advantage of mobility is also that you can get a car that suits your need. When you need to move you get a minibus, when you have to travel only a short distance and alone, you get a small and economic Citroen C1 or a Smart, when you want to show off, you rather get a BMW or a cabriolet when the weather is nice...
Hope it helps.

I just registered online yesterday. One question-do I need to have a Swiss driver's licence?

So did i just now. Lets see how it will turn out :)
As for the Swiss license i dont think is necessary. You must have a driving license valid in Switzerland though.
