I sent Sophia an email here with my phone number, info on my hair and a wide time slot of any day in the next ten, if she was available. Consider this as an option because...

Sophia got back to me ASAP and we made an appt. for today at 09:30. It is THE BEST haircut I have received in 4 years here, seriously. She took time, worked with her mentor, talked to me, and spent time washing, cutting and drying my hair. The rest of the staff was also friendly and smiley and her mentor was helpful to her as well. I have been to Aveda, to small places in Champel, Servette, and old town. This was really great. I have straight hair that one would think would be easy to cut but until now, not so much.

Great experience overall. Thank you Sophia. :) see you again in a few weeks.

I've also sent her an e-mail on here, with information about my hair type. My only problem is being fairly restricted on days, but I did offer a choice. I didn't give her my phone number but had expected a reply through the forum as I'd thought that was how it worked.

Saw Sophia yesterday; really pleased that she's managed to sort out the mess previous hairdressers had made of my fine hair. She spent over an hour snipping and trimming, checking with her mentor and generally doing a great job. A pleasant young lady who'll hopefully do really well in her chosen profession. I'd recommend that salon (and particularly Sophia) to anyone!

Went to her today and had a lot of fun. Very nice girl, very nice cut. I had my long hair cut short - all I can say is that she is very competent also with shorter cuts ;)

She takes her time and listens to what you want.

REVIEW:  I just got a long-to-short hair cut from Sophia yesterday, and it turned out excellently.  She's very professional and clearly wields some skill in what she does.  In addition, she checks frequently with her mentor so rest assured that things will go fine (great, in fact!).  I definitely wouldn't say no to this offer if you need the cut :) .
