(another "where to find in geneva" thread): frozen edamame or probiotics?

Turning to the wisdom of glocalers once again, for two separate (and unrelated) queries:

1. Edamame - any one have any tips on where to find bags of frozen edamame? (in North America you can buy these for steaming and a lot of regular grocery stores) - I tried the asian food store on Monthoux, but should probably find a Japanese store?  Tips?

2. Probiotics - I'm lactose intolerant so yogurt (the preferred probiotic of the swiss) is not an option, but this city doesn't seem to offer probiotic soygurt or other non-dairy based alternatives.  a tried a few health food stores, with no luck - is it possible that anyone out there has a suggestion (supplements, kombucha, magic?).

Okay, thanks in advance for any guidance! You guys are always the best.

I get my frozen edamame at Mikado sushi at Villereuse tram stop. They don't always have it, though.

I know that there is an Asian grocery in Paquis that usually has it as well, but sorry, I have no name or address for you.(maybe it's listed in the city guide)

Good luck!

Could it be the Mikado food services on rue de l'ancien port in Paquis?  I have a friend who loves Japanese food and she finds a lot of ingredients there -

For probiotic supplements, try the Pharmacie des Eaux Vives - on the rue des Eaux Vives opposite the Migros.   They have a supplement called Probactiol - expensive @ 56,20 for 60 capsules - but effective!

Ah, thank you so much guys!  I went to Mikado today and enjoyed home-steamed edamame for supper tonight.  I really, really appreciate it!

For japanese stuff, you could try uchitomi, it's near Rue de Lausanne:

It's a japanese supermarket, a lot of fun stuff to find there, if you like japanese cooking!
