40th Birthday

Hello all!

My husbands 40th birthday is coming up in November and I am looking for something fun to do for him.

We are maried with kids and so are our friends, so we are not looking for a club  setting. Something fun he will remember for a long time. I am open to ideas with in Switzerland as well as France and Germany.

If you do not have a loction in mind but maybe a cool party theme that would be ok too!

Thanks

HI Emily,

I make birthday cakes of all styles, and did a cricket themed cake for a 40th birthday just a few weeks ago. I've got a post in the classified section or check out this link:

Hi Emily,

How about some sunshine, easyJet have direct flights to Marrakech for approx 100CHF return and an intermediate 4 star in Marrakech will cost you less than 50eur a night. I think in total what you can spend in Geneva on a night out you could get a nice red glow and a full belly in Morrocco over a weekend.

Just a thought,

Happy planning,

Kevin

Paragliding in Annecy. Not so "crazy" as it may sound, very tranquile and beautiful views.

Hi Kevin,

yes, I can really recommend Annecy over Geneva in terms of paragliding. I got lucky and found Maison du Moulin (maison-du-moulin.co.uk), a B&B at the other side of the lake driven by a welsh guy, Irwyn, and his wife. He´s a paragliding guide, mountaineer, ski guide etc... just call them if you´re interested. I think he´s visiting England right now though, not sure when he´s back. I flew tandem and think I got more money´s worth than you usually do (we were out there the whole afternoon and flew a lot). 80 euros seems to be the standard price. If you´re really interested in paragliding, it might be more economical to take a beginner´s course, I was recommended flyeo.com, but I have no experience of them myself.

Good luck!
