A good general practitioner?

Could anyone recommend a good general practitioner, preferably in Eaux Vives, but also anywhere in downtown Geneva or the UN area? I would like to avoid picking randomly from the annuaire des médecins...

Thank you!

Did you check the guide section yet? I didn't check the details, but there might be someone conveniently located for you.

You could also ask at the Pharmacie du 31 décembre or the homeopathic chemist opposite the Migros in rue des Eaux-Vives.

Both of the owners have extensive knowledge of the local scene – and they also speak English, if needed.

I’d recommend my own long-time practitioner but he’s coming up to retirement so …

Best wishes, R.

Hello! ;-)

Dr Anca Paschoud, rue de la Terrassière 11.

I recommend her without hesitation.

Cheers, Eva

Dr Gilbert, at Place des Eaux-Vives (next to the cinema).

I've only visited him a couple of times, but his English is great and and he's been very helpful.

Dr Marc Bindschedler is my GP and he's great! He and Dr Patrick Guilbert share an office at Place des Eaux-Vives 3, 1207 Geneve.

The only 'negative' I can think of is their receptionist doesn't speak English and it can be very difficult to reach them by phone.
