A very stupid question..... sorry but I have to ask

when they have those activities in glocals, do you need to pay or you can just show up? or do you have to know somebody etc.

I mean I have this glocals account for a while but dont really use it, but I'd love to go to some activities they have but I don't know how the whole thing works.

It's not difficult..Laughing  Things listed under Member activities are free..as in no attendance fee...obviously if you join a dinner evening for example, then yes, you'll have to pay for your own dinner! If you're unsure of the details, just ask the organiser.

Thinks listed in the Events are not free but usually mention the costs involved.

If you've not joined anything yet, why don't you sign up for the New Members drinks on Wednesday? It's in a nice bar and although the drinks are not cheap, you'll meet other 'first-timers' (plus the odd repeater Tongue out) and you can take it from there.

That's not actually true though, is it Lannah.

There was a recent discussion on whether stuff should be allowed in member activities if there is a charge associated with it, but it wasn't resolved, was it? All the stuff organized by Glocals central that has a charge goes in Member Activities.

Read the small print!
