Abandoned places in the area

I'm interested in photography and would like to take a series of shots in some abandoned place like farm, factory, or a village. Surely, there's just an incredibly small chance of finding such places in the centre of Europe, but it might happen that you, dear GOL people, are aware of those.

You might also want to take a look at buildings at the junction of the rivers Aarve and Rhone -- down past the bus terminal near the bridge de la Batie (I think that's what its called anyway).

Hey Isa (btw nice photo, finally!)

A couple of us are planning a weekend away near the Bressen area probably the following wkend, but next time if you ever plan a drive out to the countryside, let me know. would love to visit such abandoned places!!!

I would join such an event, really fun to hang out with other photo maniacs and snap some pictures.
