Have you placed an ad. on glocals' Classifieds?  If not, do so straight away.  Also check the Offers section at least twice a day and respond quickly to anything that might be suitable.

And you can also consider a short temporary arrangement to give you more time to look around once you're here.

Hi, just FYI, the room list I can access is from a student association and therefore, 99% is for flat share rather than appartment or studio. My tip is to contact your HR and let her/him to arrange short-term accommodation in advance. Good luck.
