Adapters for French plugs

Just moved to Geneva from France and some of my electrical items have French plugs that do not fit the Swiss power points (but some do!). Where is the best place to buy an adaptor? I have tried to use a Universal power adaptor but the French plug does not fit that either. Thanks in advance.

Depending on what items you are trying to plug in, you might do well to replace the actual cord, and not just get an adapter.

Computers. laptops, printers, TVs, DVD players, etc. often have electrical cords that can be replaced. Might be cheaper or more convenient (ie., smaller plugs that don't get in the way) than adapters.
