Hello all,
I have seen quite a lot of posts regarding frontalier health insurance for those working in Geneva and living in France. We are in the same boat, well almost...
Let me explain: my husband has a full-time job in Geneva so he is the typical frontalier example.
I however am freelance. I do contracts in Geneva (interpreting) but I also want to work from home (translating). I think I need to set up as an autoentrepreneur/independante in France, but to do this you need to select a French regime de base for the self-employed (secu for freelancers). What I am not sure of is what kind of complement de sante to choose. Can I get a French mutuelle to cover what the secu does not plus Swiss health cover?!?!
Very confused! But I am sure there must be somebody out there in a similar boat? Any advice very much appreciated. :-)
Thank you!
