Alpine or Mountain Hut Info?
My brother and his wife are coming to visit the first week of October and are looking to do some multi-day hikes.  As far as I know, they're really up for hiking in any region of Switzerland and are interested in any information people have on Mountain or Alpine Huts.

Any recommendations on the system of using huts, or specific huts that were good, etc, would be great.

 Hi,
In the vicinity, they might consider Rochers de Naye for hiking
near Montreux. If they are adventurous, they might think it is fun to stay in a yurt
there.
We recently went to Ovronnaz (not far from Martigny);
stayed at Thermal Baths (which was great) and went hiking: the tour of Grand Chavalard was
amazing with fantastic views of Mont Blanc and lake Fully. They can check it out here for more
