Altering a simple wedding dress?

Any advice on where to take my very simple, silk wedding dress to be altered? At the very least it needs to be shortened....and it may need to be taken in a bit as well. So ladies, can you offer advice? Also, how much can I expect to pay here?

A friend and I have been to a *FANTASTIC* woman who does all the alterations for the wedding shops in geneva. Not only is she very nice, but she did an amazing job on my friend's very delicate tulle + lace + expensive Augusta Jones dress as well as adjusting a size 14 chiffon bridesmaid dress to fit myself, now nearly 6 months' pregnant!
We can't recommend her enough!
She has an atelir in Vernier, called Judith, and her number is 078 865 9063, with good prices.
