Any Info?

Hello Everyone,

I am a non-EU student who has been here for two years now. For the las one year, I have been working part time (20 hrs a week since I am on a B student permit) Now I have a situation where my boss needs me to continue working for her and I also want to since I love my job. However, since my working hours are limited due to my student status, It would be better to apply for a work permit.

Does anyone know what will happen if my boss applied for a work permit for me as a non-EU? Also, what would happen because I haven't completed my studies here but I have work skills that are needed by my boss? Does stopping of one's studies affect getting a work permit? Because I would like to discontinue my studies and work instead as I am really convinced that my job is what I want to continue with.

I appreciate whatever information.

Thanks Reka but It's not what you wrote.

My boss has offered to help get me a work permit and it is in my interest to continue working since I have been working for a year and I like it.

Secondly, I have special skills needed for this job and I have a diploma and a couple of certificates in addition to the degree that I am now uninterested in. In terms of professional experience, I have 3 years of it.

It is totally my interest and Im not naive at all. Its more of the fact that I have lost interest in the degree Im pursuing and here is a job that Im good at and I want to work.

Reka this is a friendly website where people come together, share opinions and help with advice. Your advice is true but you sound very tough and rude. Forgive me but I have seen some your posts where you have even been very  condescending in your posts.

I did not put any misleading information. I just can't write everything concerning my question so I just wrote down some of it. I don't want to answer you back as rudely as you have but try to be a little friendlier in your posts. Otherwise, it beats the purpose of having a positive expats website like this.
