yeah of cours u'll see in city there are a lot of thigs
From past experiences, I find Geneva to be a bit "dry" on new years... Or maybe it's just like every other place?
The Police will hang out in the Cabaret's, most people will just get together for a big dinner, and the streets will have their fair share of drunken blokes thinking it was a good idea to go yoddle out with the rest of the gang near Plainpalais ;)
Personally, I like the choice of being surrounded by friends on new years eve. Sipping Champagne, having a good chat, that kinda thing. Outdoors is too cold unless you wanna go crazy and end up walking around with a bottle of hard liquor to keep you warm (now I'd never do that of course, nobody ever has, mmmm right ;) ? )
But this time around, seems like there won't be much of that this year for me... oh well, maybe I'll find some place which accepts my late self-invitation (be it a bar, club or other party).
