Hi,
I'll be moving to GVA in a couple weeks and will begin the joyous task of apartment hunting. I was just curious if it is possible to do this on weekends. Will the regies be around? Will people be annoyed if I knock on their doors if they have an "a louer" sign hanging out?
Or should I plan to allocate some precious workdays to this activity instead?

Hi Robb,
In general it is not possible to visit apartments during the weekend. And the regies are closed.
So unfortunately it is only possible during the workdays

Finding Apartment is not easy in geneva even during the week days ;).but I just found one

Thanks for the tips. I was afraid that might be the case, which is why I asked. Fortunately, my weekday schedule is a little flexible since I work from home - hopefully it won't be too long before I end up in the right place at the right time. Fingers crossed!
