I'm so excited it's Fall now! And I'm wondering where some of the best places to pick or buy pumpkins and apples would be.
Are there any fun, fall festivals in Switzerland/Geneva area I should know about?!

In Russin, go to the Domain Rothis, next to it is a co-operative of Eric Porchet, they are selling Wine of the 'Cave du Geneve' and they sell seasonal vegitables and fruits. They have like 5 types apples and 10 types pumpkins.

Make sure you call them first and exact address for the Wine, as the address indicated is there residence and not the Farmers Garage/barn where they sell also the vegitables/Fruit/wine

Oh, next weekend it the Wine Harvest festival 'Fete des Vendage' in same village of Russin. Its very popular, saturday the Porchet will be open. Sunday is the big parade that includes 100% traditional local parade, with the Swiss dogs, alpen horns, floats with flowers, bands from several cantons (counties).
Further all the wine cavess are open selling traditional food and local wine. Only Genevoise wine :)

Do you know Dave it is possible to degustate wine there? Do I need to buy a glass as for caves ouvert for that?
