I was on my way home, at the tram (bel-air area) I found a wallet as I search for a seat at the back, I asked a couple of passengers in front of me if one of them owns it, and they both said no. So I took home the wallet, looked for some ID or any cards and immediately called the owner, she's french. I was calling her but she was not answering so I just left her some SMS. Finally she answered back, asking me if I could take the wallet to the address she had given me. So the next day, i had my time, i went to that place and waited for her like almost an hour, it was really hard to reach her. She saw me, she was on the phone as she approach me, tapped me and said ''Thanks! Im in a hurry, ciao''. And she ran back to wherever she came from. I was like, what the hell was that?! :)

WEll, as they say, no good deed goes unpunished! I also found a wallet on the tram a couple of months ago. I gave it to the conductor. Failing that, when I find something, I turn it into the Lost and Found office at Terrassière.
You're still a thoughtful and considerate person, though! Brava!

Next time better tell the person to meet you where ever you are. Because she or he is the one who needed the wallet not you. :)

yep.. from now on, i'll better go to lost and found. hehe
Merde! Not a nice story. You go out of your way to help her, and she takes it for granted.
When she asked you to come to her to give her the wallet, that was already a bad sign...But I think that woman is the exception. Most people would be very grateful for what you did, and would show it.
And Karma works: what goes around comes around. You did a good thing, it will come back to you one day in some form...

because she sent me an sms back with PLEASE, and, well, can't say no to that.. she must be in a situation.

You did a good thing! And as Nir said, Karma will bounce back.
Someone left a grocery bag with their purse inside the lift at my building. I rode the lift for 10 minutes or so, guarding the bag and waiting for the owner of the purse to call the lift to their floor. It didn't happen so I eventually pulled everything into my flat and started looking at ID's.
I matched the name to the directory inside the lift, went there, and was greeted with a shocked "bonjour!" when I arrived with the belongings they didn't even realize were missing!
...and no, I didn't take anything. I admit that the food was more interesting than the purse.
