Are any petrol station in Geneva for GPL (Hybrid) car?
Dec 27, 2008 @ 17:19
I am about to buy a car in Italy where there are now many GPL (gas as fuel I mean). I am not sure if this is convenient as I will need to use this car in Switzerland-Is it easy around Geneva for to find petrol station for GPL?

List of stations in CH. If I read things correctly, there are not any in the Geneva area before next summer.
Someone else might have another source of info.

Good luck.

Someone living in France might be able to say if there are stations in the area around Geneva.
Keep in mind that most underground parking garages in CH do not allow GPL vehicles. If that is the case, they will have a sign at the entrance (GPL in a red circle).

Thanks a lot for the info!
Do you think it would be a problem to import a normal car from Italy even not a GPL?
I am not aware that there are restrictions but maybe I am not informed.
Aren't there any car with a different plate from a swiss one?
cheers,
gabriella

Honestly, I don't know. You probably can as we are now using the same norms as EU, but I would ask just in case, especially for a GPL. It would be such a pity to buy a car in Italy with the idea to import in Switzerland and not to be allowed to!
