I am new to Geneva (arrived within the last 24 hours) and I am looking for a cinema that has english language showings for the films expected to come out this summer. In particular, San Andreas, the Fantastic 4 reboot and Marvel's Ant-Man. Any ideas?

The pathe cinemas show most films in English as well as French. The cinema at balxert is the biggest with most films available there. Rialto, near the station is also quite big and Rex in the centre is small.
Also a lot of the art house cinemas show films in their original language so not only english. I can't remember the names though.

You’ll find details of film showings in all the local newspapers, including the freebees. Showings in the original language are indicated by the abbreviation “v.o.” (“version originale”) so watch out for that.
You can also check showings online.
And you should also click the “Things to do” and “Groups” buttons to find glocalers
with allied interests. You’ll soon have lots of friends.
