B Permit Questions

I am sure you have all answered these questions a million times (however I cannot find the answers on here or indeed anywhere) so your help is appreciated.

1. How much do you pay for a B permit?

2. Is it better to post the application or should he go in person to the office?

Many thanks

Hi,

I paid 100 CHF a month ago in Nyon and I went to the office what is better in case you miss some documents. So they can tell you directly or they can make some other copies of your passport or whatever.

best by post if its Geneva... I think they only take meetings with problem cases, and if its a renewal or address change then you'll get it back in 2 weeks or so.

Wow, it must be more expensive for an american, I paid 75usd by mail in the US, then another 150 chf at geneva.  For my permit B I had to go in person, as well as all my classmates.  But I went in the morning and was in and out in 10 minutes.
