Baby pigeons on balcony - what to do?

Hi there,

I cleaned out some boxes from my balcony and found a pigeon nest behind. There are 2 baby pigeons which are now cowering in the corner of the balcony and have not moved since yesterday - I guess their parents are too scared to return for them.

From the pictures I have searched online it looks like they are about 20 - 25 days old.

What do I do? Is there a bird rescue centre or something in Geneva I can call for advice?

I don't want them to die of hunger or exposure!

Thanks a lot in advance,

Jenny

Hello,

Here is the number for the emergency vets:

0900 83 8343

I had a similar situation and the operator told me which vet was open very late and we drove the bird over there.

Good luck :)

Hello!

What did you end up doing in the end?

I just realised I have the same problem!

Ideally I would want somebody to come and pick them up?

Thank you,

Dan

Try contacting the Bird Rehabilitation Centre (COR) or the SPA (animal protection society).  They have websites.
