I can't wait to see the reviews on this place too. However, if it is who I think it is running it, there is NO WAY it'll be awful as this guy is one of the best bar managers Geneva has ever had.
To all at Baileys - Good luck with this when it opens (not that you'll need it)!

Ok from what I know, the guy is still waiting on a confirmation for the location he wants, and he will not make it public until it's 100% sure.

Will it replace the old Spring Brothers Pub that has shut down?
it opens in Nov... and will be in a different location to the old Spring Bros...

I hope it plans on having proper impromtu Irish music... fiddlers etc. and not just another bar with few guinness-pelican tin pictures like every other fekking wannabe Irish bar! Ok, Geneva is hardly County Mayo, and the local punters will not be discussing the indifference of O'Mally harvesting his field a week too early... but if I'm sinking few Jameson's for the ditch at midnight and start a chorus of the Cliffs of Dooneen, I want a tin whistle back up in the chord of G, and the Bodhran man on standby for a jig intro to Black Velvet Band..!

Afternoon everyone!
It's great to see so many people talking about the pub! As you can probably guess, Baileys Irish Pub will be opened by my family and my self in the downtown Geneva area.
I know a few of you are eager to know where the pub will be located, and I wish i could tell you, but due the the owners of the building asking us to not reavel untill November, my hands are tied. However, I'll state this - It'll have one of the nicest outdoor seating areas in Geneva.
As for if it will be a true Irish pub is for you guys to decide, but we are putting our heart, soul (& all our cash) into making this one of the best pubs in Geneva. We will have live bands, as well as an open are concert every few months.
The best place to get info about the pub is via the Facebook page located at the top of this thread.
All the best, and look forward to seeing you all the 23rd of November!
Simon
